Rentokil Initial x Kowloon Cares: Hiking Trail Cleanup for Sustainability

At Rentokil Initial Hong Kong, we believe in the power of collective action to protect our environment. On 11 January 2026, our team proudly participated in the "Big 4 Clean Up" campaign, a significant community initiative organized by the Kowloon Rugby Club under their Kowloon Cares platform.

Taking Action Across Hong Kong’s Major Trails

Hong Kong’s hiking trails are among the city’s most treasured assets, offering respite and natural beauty to thousands of residents. To help preserve these landscapes, the "Big 4 Clean Up" event mobilized volunteers to tackle litter across four of Hong Kong’s major hiking trails simultaneously.

Our Rentokil Initial volunteers stepped up to the challenge, hiking through diverse terrains to locate and remove waste. From plastic bottles to discarded packaging, the team worked diligently to clear debris that threatens local wildlife and degrades the hiking experience.

Partnership and Core Values in Motion

This event highlights our strong partnership with Kowloon Cares and our shared commitment to community welfare. By supporting this initiative, we are translating our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) values into concrete action.

The day was not just about cleaning; it was a demonstration of environmental sustainability in practice. Our colleagues showcased dedication and teamwork, proving that businesses can play a vital role in maintaining the ecological health of our city.

A Cleaner Future for Our Trails

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the participating colleagues who dedicated their time and energy to this cause. Your hard work has helped ensure that our trails remain clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. Rentokil Initial Hong Kong looks forward to continuing our support for impactful community projects that enhance lives and protect our environment.
