Rentokil Initial Engages in Community Service by Hosting a Cookery Workshop for Children with Special Needs x HKCS

(Hong Kong – Nov 11st 2023): Rentokil Initial Hong Kong has proudly extended its collaboration with the Hong Kong Christian Service (HKCS) in organizing a Cookery Workshop specifically designed for children with special needs. This initiative is part of Rentokil Initial's commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.

The workshop was skillfully arranged to provide an enjoyable and educational experience for the children, with Rentokil Initial Hong Kong staff volunteering their time to support the event. Each volunteer was paired with a child, guiding them through the process of baking their own desserts. The purpose of this activity was multifaceted; it was aimed at granting these young participants an opportunity to delve into new interests while offering respite for their caregivers.

Before the workshop, HKCS Yuen Long Early Education & Training Centre personnel provided Rentokil Initial volunteers with essential training, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to effectively communicate and interact with children who have special needs.
