A problematic trash room

For this 500+ room property, the odor problem emanated from a large trash room – creating a sour, off-putting smell that wafted into guest-facing areas of the property. 

The trash room was also situated near an active loading dock and receiving area. Odors from the trash room led to increased pest attraction on the loading dock. Consequently, it created a further risk for the property from disease-spreading flies, rats, mice, ants, and cockroaches.

As temperatures began to rise in the spring, the odor problem only increased for the property. That's when the hotel's Director of Engineering turned to Rentokil for help.
