These AI-powered devices feature a short-focus length camera, which is ideal for capturing glueboard activity. During installation, we work with customers to establish an agreed threshold for the glueboard state that triggers an alert based on their site risk. The camera then takes a daily photo of the glueboard in the Lumnia unit. This image is analysed by AI, which annotates any flies present.
If the AI detects that the glueboard has reached the agreed threshold, our experts are immediately informed. They then remotely analyse the annotated image to determine the best next steps. Customers will also soon be able to easily view a daily picture of their glueboards in their myRentokil account.
