How to Remove Pet Ticks from Carpet and Home Bed?

Do you have a pet, like a dog or cat, at home? Pets are proven to make sense to their owners.

In addition to being considered a friend or more of a family member, owning a pet is also trusted to improve your quality of life. When you have been busy all day outdoors, playing with pets at home is believed to lower your stress and depression levels and improve your social skills.

If you have a pet at home, you must prevent ticks from coming from your pet and staying on the carpet or home bed!

Here’s a simple thing you can do at home to keep your home’s textile furniture and materials free of pet ticks and bugs:

  1. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean carpets where your cat or dog sleeps to remove ticks and eggs
  2. Use a vacuum with a high-strength cleaner that does not damage your carpet material. Carefully clean or empty vacuum shakers, as ticks will still live
  3. Remove your animal’s carpet and bed so that ticks and eggs fall
  4. Wash your animal bed weekly at an ideal temperature above 50°C to turn off ticks
  5. Pay attention when changing carpets, bedding, and others to avoid spreading tick eggs
  6. Consider putting your pet’s bed in a place without carpet, such as on a wooden floor

A small collection of ticks can be managed by spraying insect killers on them. A collection of persistent ticks will spread around the home and require professional care.
