Insect Light Traps

Our team will propose and installs Ultraviolet Fly Traps to enhance your existing service. They provide a safe and environment-friendly alternative to chemical solutions for fly control. Ultraviolet Fly Traps are specially designed traps that make use of eco-friendly glue boards and a natural attractant of light to lure flies without the use of a potent chemical. The fly traps we install have one of the quickest catch rates for flies and some other flying insects. Our technicians will work with you to find the right locations and propose a model of fly trap that best suits your needs. The Rentokil team will also maintain and assure your fly trap is properly supplied as part of your service.

Electrocuting Insect Light Traps

In addition to our Ultraviolet Fly Traps, we install Electrocuting Insect Light Traps. In some cases, our technicians can propose Electrocuting Insect Light traps instead of Glue Insect Light Traps because they are more effective for your house of business.

Advance Subterranean Termite Baiting System

Our termite exterminators are proud to offer an innovative bait underground termite control that can be used as a solution for an existing infestation or as a preventive measure. Installing this innovative technology includes the following steps:

1. One of our professionals will inspect your property to determine the appropriate placement on the outer perimeter of the structure.
2. Once the stations are installed, they will be periodically checked to determine if there is insect activity.
3. When termites are found in a station, the monitoring cartridge which contains no active ingredient is replaced with a cartridge of termite bait, so termites can begin to feed on the bait.
4. When termites feed and travel back to the colony, they share with others in the colony and send more termites back to feed on the bait. As feeding on the bait continues and more termites are affected, the colony gradually disappears.
5. After a subterranean termite colony is eliminated, the bait is replaced with new monitoring cartridges. The service technician will continue to review these regularly to find and treat new colonies that might invade your property.

This system offers a major advance in termite control technology, using a dual purpose station with a design that minimizes the disturbance to the landscape and allows easy inspections. This termite control method is proven to keep our neighbors in San Juan and Ponce termite-free!

Fragrance Sprays & Flying Insect Control

For flying insect control, we offer one of the industry’s best devices. TimeMist Micro dispensers measure only 3″x 3″ x 7″, but its innovative design has all the features of dispensers of twice the size. TimeMist Micro cartridges weigh only two ounces but last twice as much as their counterparts. The cartridges are also ultra-concentrated fragrance or insecticide as such they work faster and stay in the air longer. Replacements are durable and better for the environment.
