While RI effectively eliminates termite infestations, Tune Protect Malaysia Berhad provides insurance coverage for property damage(s) caused by these destructive termites, ensuring your home is secure from both the termite and the financial burden.
Why TermiteShield Insurance?

Most home insurance policies often don't cover termite damages, leaving you vulnerable. Our TermiteShield insurance policy will offer you robust protection against these destructive termites.
The Benefits of TermiteShield Insurance:
Homeowners can rest assured knowing their home is protected from both termite infestation by RI and the insurance coverage on property damages* by Tune Protect Malaysia Berhad.
*Terms and Conditions:
1. The TermiteShield insurance is designed to indemnify against the Coverage, for which Tune Protect Malaysia Berhad bears liability, arising as a consequence of new termite infestation within the RI’s Termite Job Package warranty period subsequent to the first termite treatment carried out by RI. The TermiteShield provides coverage for damage to home content, furniture, fixtures, and fittings up to the limit stated in the Certificate of Insurance. Tune Protect Malaysia Berhad's total liability to the Customer in connection with this agreement is strictly limited to an annual sum insured cap of RM7,500.00 for any liability arising from the Coverage within the Agreement.
2. The TermiteShield insurance coverage years are tied to RI’s Termite Job Packages, according to the termite job packages’ duration except for RLTT8 and RLTT10 which is up to a maximum coverage of 5 years.
3. The TermiteShield insurance coverage is available exclusively for residential properties with termite job package sign up only. This TermiteShield is not applicable for termite contract renewal. Each TermiteShield insurance policy covers one (1) residence at a time.
4. According to Rentokil Initial’s General Terms & Conditions; Clause 6: Terms and Termination, if the termite job package is terminated, the TermiteShield insurance policy is non-refundable and non-transferable to a new residential property.
5. Tune Protect Malaysia Berhad exclusively administers the claims process in strict accordance with Tune Protect Malaysia Berhad’s Terms and Conditions, placing direct responsibility for claims on the customer, with no involvement from RI.
6. RI shall process the customer’s personal data and transfer it to Tune Protect Malaysia Berhad for the sole purpose of generating a Certificate of Insurance. The Certificate of Insurance shall be dispatched to the customer via email by Tune Protect Malaysia Berhad.
