Cockroaches (also called cockroaches) have been pests for about four million years. There are more than 3,500 species in the world.
The German cockroach is one of the most common species of cockroaches found in homes around the world.
However, she has a clear preference for restaurants, food processing establishments, hotel rooms and long-term care residences. Although they are not very tolerant of cold, the presence of German cockroaches has been observed as far as the Far North, in buildings constructed in Nunavut. It measures between 1.3 and 1.6 cm (0.51 to 0.52 inches), its color varies from tan to pale brown, and its body has two parallel dark lines, which start from the head and end at the wing margin. Cockroaches are winged, but they are incapable of flight.
