How bee nests are relocated
Bee nests are removed at night when African bees are less aggressive.
The methodology involves skilled use of smoke, sprayed water and nets.
Hours later the bees are re-housed in an apiary in the countryside.

With bee populations declining globally we operate a very strict non-fatal bee control policy. Rather than killing these valuable insects we provide our clients with removal and relocation services. This work regularly involves consultancy and education.
We work in partnership with Allotey Honey Bee Farms, a locally owned agri-business located just outside Accra.
Bees relocated to the farm go on to produce honey and beeswax using sustainable methods.
