Entomophagy refers to eating insects. Although this may not sound up your street, edible insects are actually extremely healthy for you, being high in protein and containing all the nutrients we need to survive. To add to this edible insects are also very environmentally friendly, taking less land and food to farm compared to traditional forms of protein and produce far less greenhouse gasses.

Because of these benefits, the UN’s Food & Agricultural Organization are key supporters in introducing the world to the entomophagy to help end world hunger.
