For added peace-of-mind, you may choose to engage a reputable company to conduct a disinfection service for your home. But what does something like this involve? What does Rentokil Initial do in this space?

Disinfection service for your home

We want you to feel safe in your home. Rentokil Initial will help you maintain a high level of hygiene and provide peace-of-mind. The Australian Government has confirmed the chemical Rentokil Initial uses is an effective disinfectant for hard surfaces against germs, bacteria and COVID-19.

Precautionary Disinfection services are carried out when there are no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 on site. The service includes biological cold fogging to help minimise health risks and touchpoint cleaning of frequently contacted surfaces such as door handles, light switches, remote controls and taps. Minor preparation to treatment areas will be required to ensure maximum disinfection coverage, such as cutlery and crockery to be placed into a closed cupboard. A post-treatment report confirming the service will also be provided.

Disinfection for your vehicle

An experienced technician will apply the appropriate PPE and RPE before using disinfection equipment and products to your vehicle. To allow for large areas to be treated and efficiently, a ULV cold fogger will be used. Extremely small droplets of the disinfectant fog settle underneath, on top and on the sides of many surfaces including textiles, and inaccessible areas.

The vehicle disinfection service also includes internal touch point cleaning, sanitising interiors like door handles, steering wheels, air conditioning knob, centre console, seat adjusters, mirrors and glove box. Any of these surfaces which you regularly come in contact with will be treated with a high level disinfectant.

Minimal disruption is of key importance, with your vehicle ready to use in less than an hour after disinfecting. Reduce cross-contamination and reassure your travelers that your vehicle is safe and that high standards of hygiene are in place.
