A poor farmer from northern Bangladesh was crowned the country’s rat killing champion on Thursday with a final score of 39,650 dead rodents after a year-long hunt.

    lol, he loves it, BBC has the same story.

    Rentokil have just moved into India haven’t they? We should recruit this guy!

    The government gave him a 14inch colour TV as a reward?!??!?
    I’d want an IMAX cinema all to myself if I’d killed that many rats!

    That means he was catching one rat every 13 minutes, with no rest for holidays, weekends or even work! The guy is dedicated, no doubt!

    The AP has it at 83,000 rats. 2nd place was 37,450, either way that’s a whole lot of rats.
