I think I'm going to have to dig out some photos and write a blog about the huge swarm of bees that attacked the 2nd stage at Download Festival this year.

It got so bad the crowd had to lay down and you could barely see the band because the bees were having there own 100ft wide, spherical mosh-pit!

Somewhat inspired by the top 10 pest control films... who would be the playing at the Pestival... My votes for:

The Beastie Boys
Adam and the Ants
Wasp (not Was)
The Housemartins

Very good point about pests and festivals! As a resident of Reading, we don't particularly look forward to the annual invasion of festival goers - hoards of people walking from their dirty campsite ( i presume it must be a little dirty, but admit have never been there to say for sure)through a relatively clean and decent city centre. So, i assume that festival camp sites could be an absolute haven for pests, what with all the food debris, drink spillages etc. I wonder if festival goers do actually spot pests? Let us know! Well, i won't be going to investigate personally that's for sure, especially when i can hear the music from the main stage from my back garden!..and my house is pest free.....or so i think!!
