New Tech on the Block

I have a trainee Technician working with me for the rest of the month and he took his first test today. He will take 1 every Monday for the rest of his training. The tests cover different pests and treatments for example “Rats and Rodenticides”. Trainees spend 4 weeks shadowing a qualified Technician and a further 2 weeks with a Local Operations Manager.

It slows you down a bit because you have to take time to explain everything but it’s the best way to learn from a practical point of view. I did it myself at the beginning, was a good way of learning stuff from people.
