Every Cloud (Bin) Has A Silverfish Lining

I had a call out to deal with silverfish this week which was an interesting one. Not many people know about silverfish, they occur in damp areas and are commonly found in kitchens and toilets. Although they can also be found on carpets where there are damp spots and generally get indoors through cavity walls.

The customer had a bin which hadn’t been cleaned for a while and the silver fish were under the bin so I used a spray treatment and will do two more follow ups just to make sure they have gone.

I got to see a famous exhibition this week because we are contracted to service the premises. It has been in all the papers since then. I sometimes get opportunities like that but not often enough.

Anyway, the team are all off for a drink tonight. We’re quite a sociable bunch in my team.
