I’m the online marketing assistant for the French website here at Rentokil. I’m actually half Canadian and half Welsh, but I grew up in France where everybody thought I was German because I’m blond. I didn’t even know that being blond was a German stereotype.

I eventually left France because I was bored of people thinking I was called “Olivier” and I couldn’t spell my own name, and then feeling sorry for me and blaming it all on the German education system.When I was 18 I decided to become an English teacher, and went to try myself out on some Spanish students in Madrid for a few months. That was great fun, and I rank Madrid right up there with black coffee and Celine Dion, no seriously!

I carried on teaching English in the summer holidays, but for the past three years I was at Uni in Southampton studying Economics and Finance and I graduated in July 2010.
