I joined the Indian arm of Rentokil in October 2008 and am based in Bangalore. The question I get most being a foreigner in India is: “Why India?” The answer is that I really like India, for its diversity and sheer energy it exudes. Rentokil on the other hand was a company that I was really interested in working for. So, Rentokil India was killing two birds with a stone and I have not regretted it since.
I have spent some time working in Malaysia, on a butterfly farm, mainly breeding insects. I know it sounds like a contradiction to pest control, but trust me there is definitely more to insects than only pests. I have to admit that I am a bit freaked out by cockroaches at times, especially, when I once realized under a shower that the large American cockroaches can fly.
Outside work, my hobbies are macro-photography, mostly of insects, trekking and travelling.
